TRAP AND SKEET SHOOTING
The Quincy Gun Club is a 6 acre facility that is open to the public offering trap and skeet shooting to its members. Since 1948 the club has been located on Highway 24 in West Quincy and has over 400 members, proudly serving men, women and area youth with local sport shooting events.
The club was originally formed in 1919 and was located in Quincy at 20th & Sycamore. In 1934 they relocated to a farm on North 24th Street. The current location at 8150 Hwy 24, Taylor Missouri is located just outside of West Quincy where it sustained the Flood of 1973 & 1993. Thanks to the efforts of members and volunteers the clubhouse was rebuilt. The club continues to reinvest in the property. The 5 trap houses and 2 of the 4 skeet fields have been updated with voice activated automated wireless traps.
Quincy Gun Club is open year round for Trap and Skeet shooting leagues, ATA registered shoots, 50 bird derbies, special events, corporate outings, fundraising and practice shooting.
